CONTEMPORARY EVENING
Three choreographic visions meet in a shared space where bodies think, feel, and speak in silence. Through shifting textures of movement, the evening invites us into a world where precision meets wildness, where memory, structure, and sensation intertwine. Maxine Doyle’s The Lady in Pink Tights, Anton Lachky’s GOLDEN FISHES, and Threads by Máté Mészáros together create a landscape of contrasts and echoes. From intimate gestures to explosive encounters, this is dance as exploration a poetic unfolding of what it means to move, to connect, to imagine.

And when I was twelve years old
My daddy took me to a circus
“The Greatest Show on Earth”
There were clowns and elephants and dancing bears
And a beautiful lady in pink tights flew high above our heads
And as I sat there watching
I had the feeling that something was missing
I don't know what
But when it was all over, I said to myself
“Is that all there is to a circus”

Choreographer : Anton Lachky
Length:

The performance is a choreographic investigation into the possibilities of movement organisation, more commonly known as dance, and the analysis of its structural units. By using this methodology, the focus of the piece directs the attention of the spectator to the synchrony of the dancing bodies. Keeping in mind the linearity of the spectatorial experience, the work offers free interpretation as an active spectator participation possibility for the audience. Using the superimposed elements of dance as an exponential system, the artists jointly create formal variations on the body/space/light spectrum.
GOLDEN FISHES
Choreographer : Anton Lachky
Length : 30 min

In his newest piece Golden Fishes, Anton Lachky guides us to wander along tumultuous, blazing paths of surrealism. Converted to boundless opportunities, the bodies interweave, proliferate and open out. Characters suddenly appear, influenced by irresistible enthusiasm and clashing indefinable stories that are impossible to reduce into an intelligible and resolute whole. The dance, freed from being confined by the moment, presents a sudden surge of power and a variety of exploits.Out of this furious and wild energy emerge engrossing, fascinating and incredibly intense choreographic moments.
